Resources and Extracurriculars for Achieving Charlotte Homeschoolers
REACH provides homeschoolers a social network for peer academic support, clubs to explore academic interests, opportunities to give back to the community, and resources for applying to college.
Unlike public and private schoolers, homeschoolers often lack community of peers and teachers, and they can feel alone, misunderstood, or under-resourced in their academic and extracurricular ambitions. We want to enable homeschoolers to reach their full potential.
So far, REACH clubs have involved over 20 homeschooled students from Davidson to Waxhaw. We started out in fall 2018 with two clubs: photography club and Model UN club. We hope to expand in the near future by offering more clubs and involving more homeschooling families across the Charlotte area.
